What to expect

A professional, high energy and inspiring day full of techniques, skills and choreography.

Designed for any ability of dancer, allowing them to try something new, learn skills and build confidence in a safe and enjoyable environment.

A great opportunity to connect and meet other dancers and enhance training.

Ballet

A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement

Jazz

Jazz dance is a performance dance technique and style that first emerged in the United States in the early twentieth century. Jazz dance may refer to vernacular jazz or to Broadway or theatrical jazz.

Tap

Tap dance is an exciting form of dance that involves dancers wearing special shoes equipped with metal taps. Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. The term "tap dancing" is derived from the tapping sound produced when the small metal plates on the dancer's shoes touch a hard floor or surface.

Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance.  The style is usually danced at a faster pace than ballet but not as fast as jazz. Lyrical dance is a category typically found in dance competitions.

Musical Theatre

Modern dance used in musicals has its roots in the beginnings of theatre itself. The use of dance is often to help tell a story, to heighten emotion or to achieve aesthetic value. Musical theatre dance is as varied as the individuals performing it, but has been appreciated by audiences for centuries.

Commercial

Commercial Dance is any kind of dancing done in concerts, live shows, music videos, movies, television, and commercials. Commercial Dance over the years has been influenced and changed with the times. Much of Commercial Dance's history coincides with other important dates in history, pop culture, and technological innovation.

Mindset

Focusing on developing a positive mindset, highlighting areas such as confidence, self- esteem, performance anxiety and body image and finding ways to help dancers overcome these fears and thoughts.
